Advising Season
Advising season is here, and we’re committed to making your advising session as productive and efficient as possible. To help you make the most of your time with your academic advisor, we’ve created Advising Worksheets (portrait and landscape options) designed to guide your preparation and ensure a meaningful discussion about your academic goals. If you would like a full registration tutorial, please see the Registration Lab Schedule at the bottom of the page.

Why Use the Advising Worksheets?
Our Advising Worksheets are tools to help you:
- Clarify Your Academic Goals: Reflect on your progress, plan your upcoming semesters, and set clear academic objectives.
- Prepare for Your Meeting: Come to your advising session with your filled-out worksheet, and specific questions or topics you’d like to discuss, saving time and making the meeting more focused.
- Maximize Your Time: With a little preparation, your meeting will be more productive, helping you make informed decisions about courses, majors, and future plans.
How to Use the Worksheets
- Download the Worksheets (portrait or landscape): Choose the worksheet that best suits your needs.
- Fill Out the Key Sections: Use GradPlan and the Class Schedule website to select courses. Fill out the Class and CRN sections and the scheduling area.
- Bring It to Your Meeting: Be sure to bring your completed worksheet to your advising session, either printed or electronically, so you can refer to it during your discussion.
Get Ready for Advising Season
By using these worksheets, you’re taking an active role in your academic journey. We look forward to helping you achieve your goals this advising season and beyond.
